Salary: $127,771–$191,657 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees.

What you will do

  • Own the design and optimization of high-impact manufacturing processes across multiple aircraft programs.
  • Scale production while balancing throughput, quality, and cost.
  • Lead manufacturing engineering for a new production line supporting a next-generation jet.
  • Scope and deploy manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, and hardware/software systems.
  • Work with vendors, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Mentor engineers and production personnel while standardizing manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in rapid-growth environments.
  • Experience scaling production processes in a startup or rapidly growing organization.
  • Strong understanding of machining, composites, avionics, and/or assembly.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • CAD proficiency and experience with manufacturing equipment or tooling design.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing, automation systems, and ERP/MRP platforms.
  • Project management experience with multiple priorities and deadlines.
