Industrial Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Georgetown, KY; onsite, 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What you will do

• Develop and maintain plant layouts and manufacturing concepts for new and existing processes.
• Maintain CAD facility layouts to support planning, expansion, and future manufacturing requirements.
• Design, source, quote, order, and expedite material-handling equipment.
• Analyze methods, workflows, labor utilization, productivity, and daily labor reports to identify corrective actions.
• Support product launches, equipment installations, capital expenditure evaluations, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering experience.
• Experience developing manufacturing layouts and workflow improvements.
• Proficiency with CAD software and facility layout design.
• Knowledge of labor standards development, predetermined time systems, and labor measurement techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Experience with material-handling equipment design and implementation.
• Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or operational excellence experience.
• Capital equipment justification, ROI analysis, labor balancing, or workforce optimization experience.
