Director of High Touch & Sales Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Diego, United States of America

Salary: $210,000–$250,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications; bonus and commission incentives are also available.

What you will do

• Lead and coach high-touch sales and sales engineering teams.
• Drive strategic new business, renewals, upsell opportunities, and account planning.
• Manage customer, presales, and reseller engagement throughout the sales cycle.
• Present and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions to customers and channel partners.
• Align the team’s strategy with broader organizational goals and manage resources, performance, hiring, and development.

Requirements

• Must work in San Diego, United States of America.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of experience in high-touch sales or a similar role in the IT software industry.
• At least 5 years of experience managing and leading sales teams.
• Broad technology and software knowledge, including experience with security products and B2B cybersecurity sales.
• Strong channel strategy, reseller management, negotiation, communication, presentation, and business development skills.
