Manager, Sales Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote, Colorado; travel as required

Base salary: $135,000–$205,000 per year, plus commission eligibility, equity grants, and benefits

Cybersecurity company developing an AI-native platform to stop breaches and protect organizations through large-scale distributed security systems.

What you will do

• Lead a team of enterprise sales engineers supporting customer engagements.
• Work with sales teams to identify requirements and design security solutions.
• Provide technical expertise through product demonstrations, presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on roadmap feedback and technical solutions.
• Develop technical marketing materials, including whitepapers and solution briefs.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and information security experts.

Requirements

• Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in endpoint or network security, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, or HIPS/IDS.
• Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Ability to explain complex security problems and present to varied audiences, including C-level executives.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and independent working skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; willingness to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with malware, threat intelligence, or sandbox analysis.
• Programming or scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with virtualization, VDI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of the OSI model.
• CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS certifications.
