Principal Product Designer (Mobile Apps)

Location: London HQ, hybrid role with office attendance in London Bridge three days a week

What you will do

• Own the complete product design process for core mobile app experiences, from discovery through delivery.
• Lead hands-on design for complex and critical app features, setting standards for interaction design, visual quality, and usability.
• Define product design strategy, vision, patterns, and complex end-to-end user flows.
• Validate hypotheses through prototyping, A/B testing, usability testing, and quantitative and qualitative research.
• Define success metrics and evaluate the impact of design initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Clinical leadership to translate complex requirements into intuitive user journeys.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, including work on consumer mobile applications.
• Staff-level influence and experience providing technical and design leadership as a Staff or Lead individual contributor across multi-squad product teams.
• Exceptional skills in prototyping, visual design, micro-interactions, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting usability testing and working with User Research to validate complex workflows.
• Strong communication skills for explaining design rationale and technical trade-offs to product and engineering leaders.
• Passion for mentoring junior and mid-level designers and improving design quality across the organization.
