Principal Product Designer (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with attendance in the office two days per week

What you will do

• Lead the design vision and strategy for personalized guest communication tools used by restaurants.
• Shape multi-year product direction across the Hospitality portfolio with product, engineering, data, and research partners.
• Turn complex guest data into trusted interfaces that help restaurants recognize and serve returning guests.
• Deliver accessible, polished end-to-end product experiences across web and mobile.
• Build alignment on design decisions through storytelling, prototypes, and research evidence.
• Mentor designers and strengthen shared design practices, patterns, and critique.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional product design experience, including leadership on complex, large-scale products.
• Portfolio demonstrating design strategy, interaction design, and exceptional visual craft across web and mobile.
• Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience setting and driving design vision with product, engineering, and research partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and defending design decisions to senior audiences.
• Ability to work in the London office two days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience incorporating AI tools into design workflows.
• Experience designing for two-sided marketplaces or both consumer and business users.
• Familiarity with data quality, identity, or personalization systems.
