Product Compliance & Standards Engineer (Regulatory Compliance)

Location: Qingdao, Shandong, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Support product regulatory compliance programs and manage compliance risks for intended markets.
• Track product regulatory and technical requirements and translate regulatory changes into business requirements.
• Collect, assess, analyze, and maintain regulatory, certification, testing, supplier, and product technical data.
• Prepare and maintain compliance records, test reports, certification documents, submissions, and related information.
• Identify process and tool improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions for data or documentation issues.
• Collaborate with product development, design control, testing, and operations teams to ensure compliance throughout development, validation, and production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of data gathering, analysis, documentation management, quality control, risk management, decision-making, and critical thinking.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and maintain accurate, complete compliance information.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work onsite in Qingdao five days a week.

Nice to have

• Understanding of regulatory requirements, technical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to learn global regulations, industry standards, and certification processes for electrification, automation, and connected products.
• Experience in product compliance, certification, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
