Sourcing Buyer (Mechanical)

Location: Onsite in Florence, South Carolina, United States. Candidates must already have work authorization permitting employment in the US.

What you will do

• Purchase mechanical materials according to technical specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Initiate purchase orders in SAP or an ERP system and confirm, monitor, and track supplier deliveries and performance.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommend frame agreements to management and execute them after approval.
• Analyze and evaluate supplier bids to determine optimal value.
• Identify new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a technical field plus at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SAP or ERP experience is required.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba and CFIN/FTP initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Existing US work authorization is required.
