Emergency Response Operations Analyst

Salary: USD 125,000–145,000 per year

What you will do

• Communicate cross-cutting emerging-threat issues to FEMA leadership, Public Affairs, Congressional Affairs, and other stakeholders.
• Create internal communications, briefings, presentations, after-action reports, videos, graphics, brochures, kiosks, and other mission materials.
• Maintain and develop FEMA Office of Emerging Threats internal and external websites.
• Support social and official messaging, emergency publications, periodic events, and informal meetings.
• Provide training and advisement on regulations, threat analysis documents, and stakeholder interactions.
• Research and analyze material for senior leadership speeches, testimony, and reports, ensuring 508 compliance for contractor-developed content.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain DHS Public Trust are required.
• 7+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
