Regional Security Operations Associate (Physical Security)

Location: Aurora, Illinois, United States; onsite presence may be required for extended hours during emergency incidents.

What you will do

• Act as the primary connection between field operations and the Corporate Security Program, communicating and enforcing security standards and policies.
• Guide clients and security vendors, identify program gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support incident response planning, monitor vendor responses, and verify appropriate site responses and reporting.
• Conduct security vulnerability assessments and lead or participate in investigations involving policy or criminal violations.
• Prepare investigative and security assessment reports and escalate critical issues to security leadership.
• Support retrofit and new construction projects, including operational handoff after completion.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of direct oversight or involvement with security operations and programs.
• At least 3 years of experience with security investigations and interviewing.
• At least 3 years of experience developing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience designing and implementing security controls, with a strong understanding of physical access technology and systems or data center practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, policy enforcement, and customer service skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably focused on physical security; flexibility to work extended onsite hours during emergencies is required.
