Staff Security Program Manager, International Security

Location: New York, NY. International travel of up to 50% is required. The role supports international offices, data center sites, travel security operations, office openings, executive protection, and events. Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining the required U.S. government authorization.

Base salary: $177,000–$237,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and develop the international security program, including global travel security, office and site protection, governance, risk assessments, and metrics.
• Build travel security capabilities covering pre-travel assessments, country risk ratings, traveler tracking, duty of care, emergency response, and evacuation support.
• Establish security requirements for international offices, data center locations, new markets, and office openings.
• Develop partnerships with foreign law enforcement, intelligence services, diplomatic security, industry peers, and local security providers.
• Coordinate with the GSOC, Corporate Security, Facilities, Legal, People, Real Estate, and Data Center Operations teams on incidents, providers, budgets, and risk decisions.
• Provide hands-on support for executive protection and high-profile events, including advances, route and venue assessments, logistics, and on-site protective coverage.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in international security, travel risk management, executive protection, protective intelligence, government, law enforcement, military, or corporate security.
• Hands-on experience building or operating corporate travel security programs, including risk assessments, traveler tracking, and international emergency response.
• Experience with executive protection operations, international partnerships, office or site security assessments, and cross-functional program ownership.
• Ability to operate independently across cultures and time zones, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and work with contractors and local partners.
• Strong judgment, discretion, integrity, planning, communication, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 50% and satisfy applicable U.S. export-control access requirements.

• Federal law enforcement, military, intelligence, diplomatic security, or professional protective services experience.
• International liaison, overseas assignment, or foreign law-enforcement partnership experience.
• Data center, colocation, critical infrastructure, international expansion, or investigative partnership experience.
• Foreign language proficiency and cultural fluency across multiple regions.
• Experience managing security budgets, vendors, traveler-safety technology, or intelligence platforms.
