Location: Singapore; office-based role supporting hirify.global Bank Europe, Singapore Branch.

What you will do

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on Singapore banking and broader financial services regulation.
• Advise on regulatory obligations, governance, controls, policies, and committee processes.
• Support primary dealer, deposit, corporate treasury, funding, liquidity, loan, and guarantee matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for transactional and cross-border arrangements.
• Monitor Singapore and EU regulatory developments and support new businesses, products, and activities.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Treasury, Risk, Controllers, Operations, Tax, and global Legal teams.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm, financial institution, or in-house legal team.
• Strong grounding in Singapore banking law and financial regulation, including requirements applicable to banks and bank branches.
• Experience advising banks or other regulated financial institutions on legal and regulatory matters.
• Strong legal and business judgment, communication, drafting, analytical, ownership, and workload-management skills.
• Ability to advise proactively and work confidently with senior stakeholders on complex matters.
• Experience with cross-border matters and regional or global stakeholders is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Mandarin speaking and Chinese reading and writing skills for cross-border legal, regulatory, and transactional materials.
