Senior Manager, Regulatory Operations, APAC

What you will do

• Translate regulatory and partner obligations across APAC jurisdictions, products, and licensed entities into governance requirements and operational controls.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve controls in partnership with Product, Operations, Engineering, Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Finance, and external financial partners.
• Maintain obligation mappings, control descriptions, RACIs, testing approaches, evidence standards, remediation tracking, and exam-ready documentation.
• Coordinate responses and evidence packages for regulatory exams, audits, inspections, RFIs, and partner due-diligence reviews.
• Support regulatory reporting governance and material control changes across regional stakeholders.
• Maintain APAC obligations, controls, evidence, and issues in GRC tooling and contribute to AI-native GRC capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory operations, regulatory compliance, internal audit, risk management, financial services, payments, fintech, or a similar discipline.
• Experience translating legal, regulatory, or partner requirements into operational controls, procedures, testing, or assurance activities.
• Direct experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, inspections, RFIs, or partner due-diligence reviews.
• Strong project management, analytical, writing, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Role based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, e-money, card issuing or acquiring, treasury, embedded finance, or other multi-jurisdiction fintech models.
• Exposure to APAC regulators such as MAS, HKMA, AUSTRAC, or SFC and to regional banking or card scheme partners.
• Experience with obligations registers, controls libraries, regulatory reporting operating models, or GRC tooling.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, CIA, or CISA, or formal legal or compliance education.
