Legal Counsel

hirify.global supplies food and beverage ingredients, including cocoa, coffee, dairy, nuts, and spices, to food brands and manufacturers worldwide.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate manufacturing, supply, distribution, packaging, banking, finance, warehousing, R&D, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise Treasury, Finance, and group functions on financing arrangements, guarantees, security documents, and intercompany matters.
• Provide practical advice on contractual, product, food, labelling, advertising, consumer protection, and regulatory issues.
• Manage disputes, investigations, potential claims, internal stakeholders, and external counsel.
• Support regional customers, cross-functional projects, business leadership, and APAC Legal teams.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on their impact.

Requirements

• LLB, Juris Doctor, or equivalent degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience in a leading law firm or multinational corporate legal function.
• Qualification to practise law in at least one recognised jurisdiction and good standing where applicable.
• Substantial commercial contracting and banking and finance experience; experience in manufacturing, international trade, dispute management, or food law is valuable.
• Ability to work across jurisdictions, time zones, cultures, and complex matrixed organisations.
• Strong communication, organisation, judgement, professional ethics, and integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer products or the agriculture industry.
• Experience supporting regional customers and global projects.
