Financial Crime Compliance Manager (Asia)

What you will do

• Support the continuous enhancement of the Financial Crime Compliance framework across the Asia Pacific region.
• Provide technically sound second-line guidance and advice to first-line business and operations teams.
• Support oversight of regional financial crime risks and third-party suppliers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, and Japan.
• Manage relationships with business, compliance, risk, operations, and outsourced service provider stakeholders.
• Monitor relevant local and transnational legislation, regulations, industry guidance, and best practices.
• Support the Financial Crime Enhancement Programme and prepare governance reports.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of proven Financial Crime Compliance experience in the financial services industry.
• Previous experience as the individual responsible for financial crime oversight.
• Demonstrable experience in Financial Crime Compliance advisory matters.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to assess risks and controls, exercise sound judgement, and determine residual risk.
• Ability to manage and prioritise work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
