Associate Legal Counsel (Gaming)

Location: Singapore; hybrid work arrangement with 1 day of work-from-home per week

What you will do

• Build and lead the legal function across a growing multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional gaming group.
• Lead regulatory matters, licensing applications, renewals, compliance monitoring, and market-entry advice.
• Advise on corporate structuring, governance, M&A, and corporate restructuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate B2B licensing, marketing, vendor, and third-party service agreements.
• Manage intellectual property strategy, data protection compliance, disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations.
• Build legal processes, templates, playbooks, training programs, and external counsel relationships.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognised university.
• Qualified lawyer in Singapore, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, or another common law jurisdiction.
• 4–6 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong knowledge of IP/TMT, regulatory regimes, licensing processes, and commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
• Experience in technology, gaming, or digital services, with strong analytical, organisational, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a lean, fast-paced, multi-entity environment and balance legal constraints with business goals.

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate structuring or cross-border data protection regimes.
