Power Systems Project Manager

Location: Fairview Heights, Illinois, United States; the header also lists Houston, Texas. Regional travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $79,000–$124,000 per year, depending on level, location, experience, training, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Manage the full life cycle of multiple large, multidisciplinary projects from proposal conception through commissioning and close-out.
• Track and stabilize projects, resolve obstacles, and anticipate customer needs related to power-system products.
• Train and support customers in the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems.
• Assign and complete work within agreed scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality and safety.
• Provide support across marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience related to electric power systems, industry practices, and philosophies.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification.
• Ability to work from the Fairview Heights, Illinois location and travel regionally up to 25%.
