Transportation Finance Manager (Customer Onsite)

Location: Ellenwood, Georgia, United States; hybrid working with customer onsite responsibilities

What you will do

• Lead the Global Transportation Spend Operations Team and manage Transportation Finance Analysts across APAC and AMER.
• Monitor intake volumes, balance operational capacity, and maintain adherence to strict SLA requirements during volume spikes and month-end closes.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries in internal data warehouses, including BigQuery and Plx.
• Monitor operational pipelines, invoice aging, SLA turnaround, and billing anomaly detection.
• Analyze transaction data to identify carrier defects, disputes, and financial leakage.
• Coordinate improvement projects with customer Program Managers, Spend Owners, and carrier stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, business analytics, or a quantitative field.
• 7–9+ years of progressive experience in freight audit and payment, transportation accounting, or logistics billing operations.
• At least 3 years of direct supervisory or team management experience in high-throughput financial operations.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar freight spend portfolios and high-volume transaction exceptions at global scale.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets, root-cause analysis, and identifying systemic exception patterns.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills, executive-level data visualization, operational leadership, and experience handling carrier billing disputes.
