Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; primary location at 809 11th Ave

Salary: $143,000–$286,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead complex analytical initiatives across customer behavior, business performance, contribution profit, fulfillment costs, and fee structures.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests using rigorous statistical methods to measure business impact.
• Develop predictive models and scalable analytical frameworks using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, and model validation.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Business teams to influence strategic and product decisions.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualizations and mentor data scientists on analytical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4 years of analytics experience, or a master’s degree and 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and advanced statistical modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, complex datasets, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, experimental design, statistical hypothesis testing, exploratory analysis, and model validation.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems, communicate complex insights, influence stakeholders, and establish data quality and governance practices.
• Ability to mentor data scientists and develop scalable, automated analytical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with data science, optimization models, or a PhD in a related quantitative field.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Torch.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
