Staff Data Scientist (AI)

Salary: $192,000–$260,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build robust data science tooling for business leaders, analysts, and data scientists.
• Generate strategic insights for company priorities and Engineering initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.
• Integrate data science tooling with Data Platform, Product Engineering, and core product offerings.
• Define project requirements, OKRs, milestones, and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior data scientists and review project plans, technical decisions, code, and documentation.
• Represent the data science discipline at academic and industry conferences and events.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics in high-growth companies.
• Experience applying data science and machine learning in production to build data-driven products.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems such as Spark.
• Understanding of software engineering practices including testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, or Engineering.
