Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze structured and unstructured data and develop predictive, prescriptive, classification, anomaly detection, forecasting, NLP, recommendation, and computer vision solutions.
• Design, train, optimize, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models in production environments.
• Build automated model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor model and data drift while maintaining governance, versioning, documentation, data quality, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and feature stores and integrate solutions into enterprise applications.
• Use cloud AI platforms and distributed computing for large-scale analytics, including multi-source summarization with human review.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Hybrid work in Arlington, Virginia, United States.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, data modeling, Python, machine learning libraries, SQL, and data manipulation.
• Experience deploying production machine learning models, working with large datasets, and using cloud-based data platforms.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
• Experience with enterprise AI transformation, model governance, responsible AI, or AI risk management.
• Experience in healthcare, finance, government, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
