Manager III, Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Kamimashiki, Japan; travel required for 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with customers at all relevant levels and conduct regular customer visits.
• Manage, coach, direct, evaluate, and develop customer engineers within the district.
• Coordinate with Product Divisions on technical support, training, spare parts, and reliability.
• Plan and execute system installations, including facility preparation, start-up meetings, and process support identification.
• Manage escalations, RMA procedures, engineer hours tracking, and corrective actions.
• Lead account planning, financial forecasting, cost-efficiency initiatives, and support plans for system sales.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze situations and data using relevant factors.
• Experience providing direction to employees under established policies and management guidance.
• Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies.
• Ability to gain cooperation and present technical information about projects and schedules.
• Understanding of and compliance with hirify.global' global Standards of Business Conduct.
• Ability to work in Kamimashiki, Japan, with approximately 10% travel.
