Fab Application Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Create test processes and procedures for new products, including R&D samples.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot customer complaints using lithography process tools.
• Support product qualification tests and R&D experiments.
• Generate lithographic performance data for customer product promotion.
• Simulate product lithographic performance using simulation software for field support.
• Manage data with statistical software such as JMP and continuously improve lithography equipment and processes using PCS.

Requirements

• Experience with lithographic processes in the semiconductor field.
• Understanding of lithography processes, evaluation methods, and defect analysis.
• Experience operating lithography-related equipment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is preferred.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of statistical methods and Six Sigma.
• Computer skills, including networking.
