Commercial Product Engineer

What you will do

• Develop product processes from laboratory scale through high-volume manufacturing.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze data, and document findings.
• Deliver process technology and capability to operate, maintain, and improve manufacturing operations.
• Apply design of experiments, failure mode and effect analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to improve lithography product quality and stabilize supply.
• Engage with customers to understand market trends, prioritize quality improvement projects, and provide technical perspectives.

Requirements

• Professional working proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N1 level and working proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials science.
• Strong understanding of organic and inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and chemical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with DOE, FMEA, and root cause investigation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Valid driving license.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor or chemical industries.
• Experience with polymerization.
• Knowledge or certification in Six Sigma or project management.
