What you will do

• Provide technical service and development support to customers through training, troubleshooting, problem solving, and application development.
• Plan and conduct laboratory performance evaluations and generate technical data based on customer and market needs.
• Identify unmet application needs and lead development projects from conception through implementation and commercialization with the sales team.
• Drive or support new material and application technology launches within the global technology network.
• Deliver technical presentations and seminars to customers and partners.
• Monitor advanced technology trends and participate in industry conferences and association activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry, Material Science, Applied Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a technical engineer.
• Ability to define customer needs, plan and conduct performance evaluations, and develop products or applications.
• Broad technical interests across semiconductor and industrial markets and applications.
• English communication skills are required.
• Willingness to travel within Japan approximately 20% of the time.
