What you will do

• Translate audience insights, platform trends, and commercial opportunities into a video strategy, programming slate, and production priorities.
• Lead and mentor the video production team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Grow video audiences through performance analysis, publishing optimisation, format experimentation, thumbnail testing, metadata improvements, and retention analysis.
• Develop original video formats, sponsorship integrations, and scalable commercial products with Editorial, Audience Development, Commercial, and Marketing.
• Contribute as a senior content leader by championing emerging platforms, technologies, and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with video platforms and analytics tools, including YouTube Studio, retention curves, click-through rates, recommendation systems, and thumbnail experimentation.
• Demonstrated success growing video audiences with measurable improvements in subscribers, watch time, retention, or engagement.
• Knowledge of short-form vertical video, multi-platform distribution, and emerging audience behaviours.
• Experience developing commercially successful video products, including sponsorship integrations and branded content.
• Ability to develop strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and lead and support creative production talent.
• Full-time Australian working rights and successful completion of a National Police Record check are required.
