Demand Planning Manager (Aerospace)

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Own and maintain a single unconstrained rolling demand plan across commercial aircraft original equipment, aftermarket, and MRO product lines.
• Lead the monthly Demand Review process within the Integrated Business Planning framework.
• Develop forecasting models using customer demand signals, historical consumption, market intelligence, installed-base analysis, reliability trends, and business assumptions.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identify variance root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide demand projections, risk assessments, analytics, and executive reporting for supply, inventory, financial, revenue, and operational planning.
• Manage demand-planning processes, master-data governance, documentation, training, and planning-system improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, industrial engineering, finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, forecasting, IBP, S&OP, or related planning functions.
• Experience with statistical, rate-based, consumption-based, and business assumption-driven forecasting methodologies.
• Working knowledge of IBP, S&OP, inventory planning, supply planning, and operational planning processes.
• Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems such as SAP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, or Kinaxis Maestro, plus advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Buffalo, NY schedule and access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or APICS CPIM/CSCP, IBF CPF, or related certification.
• Power BI and data analytics experience.
• Commercial aerospace, aftermarket/MRO, manufacturing, or complex industrial forecasting experience.
