Global Inventory Planner (Hardware)

What you will do

• Own the forward view of finished-goods inventory, weeks of supply, and stock targets across markets and warehouses.
• Plan shipments between factories, warehouses, and markets, making allocation trade-offs when supply or demand changes.
• Manage international freight, including forwarder selection, volume allocation, transport modes, routes, and delivery issues.
• Build relationships with freight forwarders to secure capacity, expedite shipments, and resolve delays.
• Develop trusted reporting on inventory, freight costs, lanes, markets, and landed unit costs.
• Plan inventory through product transitions and new market launches.

Requirements

• Experience planning inventory for physical products across multiple markets or warehouses.
• Strong understanding of weeks of supply, safety stock, inventory targets, forecasting, production schedules, and shipment planning.
• Practical experience managing international air and sea freight forwarders.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to build inventory models and reporting.
• Commercial judgement, ownership, follow-through, and clear communication with stakeholders and logistics providers.
• Comfort handling difficult conversations and escalating issues appropriately.
