Senior Technical Talent Partner (Engineering/ML)

Location: Hybrid role based in either the San Francisco, United States or Toronto, Canada hub

Salary: $120K–$170K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for complex, senior, and hard-to-fill Engineering and ML roles across multiple teams.
• Advise hiring managers and executives on role design, hiring strategy, assessments, and offers.
• Develop sourcing strategies and use data, metrics, and benchmarks to guide recruiting decisions.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships and influence hiring decisions and calibration.
• Unblock stalled searches, manage ambiguity and pressure, and own search outcomes end to end.
• Improve recruiting processes, evaluate tools, and champion an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

• Experience independently leading senior, complex, or niche technical searches, ideally in a fast-paced startup.
• Strong data fluency and ability to use recruiting metrics and benchmarks for prioritization.
• Ability to advise technical leaders, reframe hiring needs, and influence senior stakeholders.
• High agency and resilience when managing ambiguity, stalled searches, freezes, or reorganizations.
• Strong ownership of recruiting deliverables, communication, and candidate relationships.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the San Francisco or Toronto hub.

Nice to have

• Experience with recruiting tools such as Ashby or Metaview.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
