NPI Engineer

Location: On-site in Kulim, Malaysia

hirify.global's Kulim Assembly and Test Manufacturing facility supports new product introduction from engineering builds through high-volume manufacturing.

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and execute NPI activities for new technologies and products.
• Coordinate build execution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Develop NPI execution plans, track schedules, and publish performance against critical milestones.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness, including system setup, process flows, material readiness, capacity, and data collection.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, define risk mitigation actions, and coordinate recovery plans.
• Document process flows, build routing, BOMs, qualification artifacts, and factory certification materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, technology transfer, or a related engineering role.
• Knowledge of assembly and/or test processes, technology development transfer methodologies, and statistical data analysis.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, organizational, project coordination, and prioritization skills.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Kulim, Malaysia, on Shift 1.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
