NPI Build Manager

What you will do

• Own end-to-end execution of New Product Introduction builds at assigned contract manufacturing sites, from prototype through market launch.
• Establish and manage build schedules, quantities, milestones, priorities, and capacity across multiple concurrent programs.
• Ensure readiness of materials, staffing, tooling, equipment, manufacturing, testing, engineering, debugging, and rework resources.
• Drive NPI and Transfer Qualification builds, monitor readiness requirements, and take corrective action on schedule variance.
• Act as the escalation point for operational issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, materials, manufacturing, planning, quality, and contract manufacturing teams.
• Improve build readiness, schedule predictability, contract manufacturer execution, and mass-production purchase-order readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, operations, program management, or contract manufacturing.
• Experience managing NPI builds and working directly with contract manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of NPI processes, build readiness, manufacturing operations, and schedule management.
• Ability to drive execution, manage competing priorities, meet aggressive time-to-market targets, and hold internal and external teams accountable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
