Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and document custom ServiceNow applications, databases, and cloud services.
• Implement ServiceNow features and enterprise reference architecture aligned with government sponsor priorities.
• Participate in Agile development ceremonies and manage sprint delivery using Jira.
• Perform unit, functional, and user acceptance testing.
• Implement application security, accessibility, certification, accreditation, and Risk Management Framework requirements.
• Support Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 service management operations and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph or sponsor clearance eligibility.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including custom ServiceNow application development.
• Experience analyzing and documenting web applications, databases, web services, APIs, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Experience with Agile software development, Jira, and version control tools such as GitHub or Subversion.
• Experience managing Tier 1–3 IT service management workflows and creating technical documentation, SOPs, workflows, knowledge base articles, deployment checklists, architectural diagrams, and SSPs.
• Experience implementing solutions consistent with federal accessibility standards and supporting compliance or performance management applications.

• Experience working with government sponsors and partner IT organizations.
• Experience supporting learning, language development, or workforce compliance applications.
• Cloud infrastructure and platform hosting experience.
• Front-end and web technology skills including HTML5, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
• Tableau reporting and dashboard experience, WCAG 2.0 AA familiarity, or ServiceNow CAD/CSA certification.
