CI Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; onsite at the factory

Salary: $89,800–$112,200 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Lead productivity, cost-reduction, and process-improvement programs across the manufacturing facility.
• Implement and advance the hirify.global Management System, MOS, Lean, and Six Sigma processes.
• Coordinate improvement initiatives across purchasing, distribution, manufacturing, research and development, packaging, and engineering.
• Develop KPIs, performance visuals, tracking systems, productivity decks, waste analysis, and factory digital tools.
• Lead factory-wide 5S initiatives, audits, standards, corrective actions, and best-practice sharing across Supply Chain.
• Manage the Continuous Improvement department budget and support staff performance management and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience leading Continuous Improvement or transformation projects.
• Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Experience overcoming project obstacles while meeting timelines and cost-reduction targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, mentoring, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills.
