Production Supervisor I/II - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Kings Mountain, North Carolina, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Starting base pay: $77,235–$105,903 per year

What you will do

• Directly supervise hourly production team members and set performance expectations.
• Execute daily production plans, monitor variances, adjust staffing and capacity, and achieve productivity targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, scheduling, shipping, inventory control, sales, purchasing, and production management.
• Support troubleshooting, special design orders, new product launches, equipment upkeep, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct interviews, onboarding, training, performance reviews, safety training, and cross-training plans.
• Lead 5S, safety, team engagement, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• For Production Supervisor I: 1–2 years of relevant leadership experience.
• For Production Supervisor II: 2–4 years of supervisory leadership experience.
• Ability to maintain production quality, safety, productivity, employee relations, and applicable labor and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; SAP experience is preferred.
