Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Sedalia, Missouri, United States. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

What you will do

• Lead production, material planning, quality, supply chain, inventory, safety, compliance, shipping, receiving, maintenance, and talent operations.
• Deliver plant goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, profitability, and customer expectations.
• Own HSE performance, risk reduction, environmental compliance, incident learning, and corrective actions.
• Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational metrics, process standards, and hirify.global Business System practices.
• Manage ISO and API certification performance, capital equipment installations, major repairs, budgets, and P&L activities.
• Build and lead plant teams in partnership with Human Resources, supply chain, planning, sourcing, commercial, and corporate functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 8 years of senior-level experience managing operating processes in a high-volume industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with strategic planning, goal setting, budgeting, P&L management, team development, and change management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, Infor, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor.
• Experience with ISO or API certification bodies and continuous improvement methods including 5S, Six Sigma, or related tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction and pass required post-offer screening.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
• Experience with vertical integration, internal supply chains, or the steel production industry.
• Knowledge of QAD.
