Area Service Leader (HVAC)

Location: Brea, California, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $128,600.00–$182,664.99 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead a geographical service area and develop a 1–2 year strategy to achieve revenue, workforce, and talent objectives.
• Manage P&L responsibilities, revenue forecasting, budget control, service agreement growth, and service project profitability.
• Lead Area Service Managers and oversee hiring, coaching, training, performance development, and resource allocation.
• Interface with customers on high-visibility projects and support successful project execution and service business growth.
• Manage service risks, standardize work processes, and ensure margin expectations are met during sales and fulfillment.
• Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance for employees working in shops and at customer sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, technical systems, equipment, skilled trades, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management, business acumen, analytical skills, and deep knowledge of P&L and annual operating plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• Must work onsite Monday through Thursday in the Brea/Los Angeles, California area; customer-site travel is required.
