Executive Director - Cloud and Infrastructure Solution Area Lead (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States; work in the Fairfax office

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year

What you will do

• Set the strategy, market position, offering portfolio, and capability roadmap for the Cloud and Infrastructure Solution Area.
• Build differentiated, repeatable offerings across cloud modernization, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, enterprise operations, edge computing, and resilient mission environments.
• Partner with Growth, Account, Delivery, and technical teams on strategic customer opportunities, captures, solutioning, and pursuits.
• Lead a cross-company Cloud and Infrastructure Core Team spanning business units, delivery, growth, R&D, partnerships, and marketing.
• Recommend investments in R&D, IRAD, reusable solutions, accelerators, reference architectures, and other capabilities.
• Represent hirify.global in customer engagements, industry forums, conferences, panels, and partner discussions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure, enterprise technology, or related federal mission environments.
• Broad expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud architecture, cloud migration, platform engineering, infrastructure as code, networking, compute, storage, virtualization, containers, observability, resilience, and enterprise operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers and translating mission needs into technical solutions, offerings, or strategic initiatives.
• Experience with business development, capture, solutioning, strategic pursuits, technology strategy, capability roadmaps, or investment priorities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and matrixed teams, communicate with senior customers and executives, and evaluate whether capabilities should be built, bought, partnered on, integrated, or reused.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance appropriate to customer and mission requirements.

Nice to have

• 18+ years of relevant experience and established credibility with DoD, the Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian agencies, or the broader federal technology market.
• Experience scaling repeatable cloud and infrastructure offerings, intellectual property, accelerators, managed capabilities, or platform services.
• Experience with FedRAMP, the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide, Risk Management Framework, Zero Trust, cloud-native modernization, Kubernetes, containers, DevSecOps, edge computing, SRE, or FinOps.
• Experience operating in classified, disconnected, denied, degraded, intermittent, or limited-bandwidth mission environments.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree, relevant professional certifications, and an active U.S. Government security clearance.
