Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Onsite at the customer's site in Chantilly, Virginia, United States. US citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI and CI Poly eligibility are required.

Salary: $155,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Extract, transform, standardize, and ingest data from multiple sources into consolidated environments.
• Support continuous automation of data ingestion processes.
• Develop and integrate applications for analytic workflows.
• Design and develop data services and pipelines within an Agile/Scrum team.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and program management to implement and document complex requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities and changing requirements while supporting collaboration, innovation, and customer service excellence.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI and CI Poly eligibility required.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, finance, statistics, information management, computer science, engineering, economics, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, computer science, or computer engineering.
• Proficiency in parsing data in different formats for machine learning applications and transforming structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience with Python or another statistical programming language, Linux shell scripting, data manipulation, communication, and technical presentations.

Nice to have

• In-scope Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Advanced degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Converged Database, or Apache Spark.
• Experience with Department of Defense organizations or performers.
• DoD-approved 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as CySA+ or Security+.
