What you will do

• Lead, grow, hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing data science team.
• Set technical direction and own the strategic roadmap for data science initiatives.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to prioritize high-impact projects.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of ML and analytics products from experimentation to production.
• Establish standards for code quality, reproducibility, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
• Define success metrics, demonstrate ROI, and guide resource allocation decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, including 3+ years leading or managing a data science team.
• Proven experience shipping production ML systems and analytics products that delivered measurable business outcomes.
• Strong foundation in statistics, modeling, and programming, with fluency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience recruiting, building, and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring junior data scientists.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical work into business-facing storytelling.
• Experience working in fast-moving or complex organizations, with comfort navigating ambiguity and iterative problem-solving.
