Sr Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; the listed location is New York.

Salary: $210,000–$220,000 USD per year base pay.

What you will do

• Help customers discover and master the AI platform through training, office hours, demonstrations, and consultative support.
• Analyze data and investigate machine learning applications across industries and use cases.
• Provide strategic input to customer and account teams to support successful AI adoption.
• Scope and co-develop production-level data science projects from design through deployment.
• Mentor and educate customer data scientists and other team members.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of coding experience with Python, R, and SQL.
• More than 5 years of experience building machine learning models.
• Understanding of underlying data systems and platform mechanics, including cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, and SQL.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, empathy, and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and customers.

Nice to have

• Consulting or customer-facing data science experience.
• Data engineering or MLOps experience.
• Experience developing web applications with JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash.
• Experience building APIs or using enterprise data science tools.
• Passion for teaching or public speaking.
