Quality Manager II (Manufacturing)

Location: Oakdale, California, USA; on-site plant role with 5% travel

Annual base salary: $102,240–$115,020, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5%

What you will do

• Manage the plant quality assurance function and maintain quality systems that meet customer, internal, regulatory, SQF, and FSSC requirements.
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure product safety, product integrity, and manufacturing compliance.
• Lead a quality assurance team through guidance, training, and support.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, data-driven problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Apply quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, SPC, DMAIC, and Lean methods.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and help move the plant from reactionary to preventive quality management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Knowledge of value stream mapping, Lean techniques, Minitab or equivalent statistical software, Infinity QS or equivalent SPC software, pFMEAs, and control plans.
• Proven leadership in driving root cause analysis and CAPA to completion, with the ability to train employees and improve process capability.
• Ability to follow plant safety requirements, including the use of appropriate protective equipment.
