Senior Aviation Lead (Army Aviation)

What you will do

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of aviation training system activities for initial entry, advanced, and sustainment flight training.
• Direct program execution, program reviews, technical interchange meetings, stakeholder engagements, and acquisition and contract execution activities.
• Manage risk, concurrency planning, issue resolution, training continuity, safety, and operational readiness.
• Integrate aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition functions.
• Coordinate subject matter expert involvement and approve QASPs, maintenance plans, test and evaluation plans, accreditation documentation, and training system performance metrics.
• Track and report performance, ensure compliance with Army aviation training standards and contractual requirements, and provide executive-level briefings and decision support.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance
• Instructor Pilot or Maintenance Test Pilot experience.
• Army Aviator experience with the UH-60M.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, program management, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting aviation, flight training, or Department of Defense program management efforts.

• Familiarity with Army aviation training governance and accreditation processes.
