Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from Virginia, United States, with close proximity to the National Capital Region required. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain an active Public Trust 6c clearance are required.

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale federal cybersecurity technology and infrastructure initiatives.
• Set program requirements, priorities, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery standards.
• Coordinate SOC, CDM, Red Team, DevSecOps, architecture, and other cross-functional workstreams.
• Oversee solution planning, design, development, testing, implementation, roadmaps, and technology lifecycle management.
• Serve as the primary liaison with federal agency leadership, contractor teams, service providers, and subcontractors.
• Manage contract execution, risks, performance metrics, reporting, budget, quality, schedule, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship and close proximity to the National Capital Region are required.
• 15+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT programs as a Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, or Senior Project Manager.
• Active PMP certification is mandatory.
• Active Public Trust 6c clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity IT, including SIEM, EDR, CDM, DevSecOps, identity and access management, and AWS GovCloud.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, IT management, or a related discipline.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, SAFe, PMI-ACP, AWS Security Specialty, or CGRC certification.
• Experience with federal cybersecurity programs, FISMA, ATO processes, NIST RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience managing SOC, Red Team, DevSecOps, cloud security, or CDM programs.
• Experience managing programs exceeding $10 million annually and geographically distributed multidisciplinary teams.
