Lead Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; hybrid work with attendance three days per week

hirify.global is hiring for a banking client seeking leadership in digital banking product management.

What you will do

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, and success metrics.
• Own product roadmaps and prioritize backlogs based on business value, customer needs, risk, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, market research, customer-focused design, and product lifecycle delivery from development through continuous improvement.
• Translate business and customer needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering, UX/UI, architecture, data, operations, risk, legal, and compliance teams.
• Monitor analytics, customer feedback, operational metrics, and financial results to improve experience, efficiency, revenue, and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or technology delivery.
• 3+ years leading products or product portfolios in banking, financial services, fintech, payments, lending, deposits, or another regulated industry.
• Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, measurable outcomes, detailed requirements, and user stories.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, customer journeys, risk controls, regulatory considerations, and Agile product development.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
