Platform DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include Florida, Texas, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Utah, and California.

Salary: $126,600–$160,000 gross yearly.

What you will do

• Direct the AWS infrastructure strategy for the hirify.global Prospect SaaS application.
• Develop global infrastructure standards and contribute to organization-wide infrastructure-as-code and security initiatives.
• Architect and maintain resilient, modular cloud environments with Terraform and AWS.
• Enable self-service deployments by providing product developers with appropriate tools and guardrails.
• Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems including Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, and Checkly.
• Implement AI-assisted and agentic workflows to automate operational tasks and improve incident response.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience managing complex AWS ecosystems, including VPC, RDS, IAM, EKS, Route53, S3, EFS, and Firebase.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and DevSecOps principles, including RBAC, encryption, and secret management.
• Experience delivering incremental improvements in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration between US-based product teams and the global infrastructure team.
• Professional familiarity with AI-driven agentic workflows and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
