Remote Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Medicine - NYS License Required

Location: Albany, New York 12205; local candidates are required due to onsite meetings

Salary: $36.00–$47.52 per hour

What you will do

• Bring patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, document care, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Review and update medication lists, process electronic prescriptions, complete referrals, and track patient compliance.
• Perform pre-visit planning, review quality metrics, retrieve clinical information by telephone, and manage provider task lists.
• Educate patients about medications, testing procedures, home care, and follow-up instructions.
• Obtain procedure consent, handle and document specimens, follow up on test results, and provide clinical visit summaries.
• Participate in patient care huddles, quality assurance activities, supply management, and maintaining a clean and safe care environment.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• At least six months of previous RN experience.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Local Albany candidates required because of onsite meetings.
