Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; full-time weekend day shift.
Salary: USD 37.00–59.20 per hour.

What you will do
- Perform comprehensive assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, create measurable care goals, and update patient care plans.
- Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, patient care technicians, and other hospital services.
- Administer medications safely, use barcode medication administration and Alaris pump guardrails, and monitor patient responses.
- Provide patient and family education, including medication guidance, discharge instructions, medication reconciliation, and patient portal support.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, coordinate escalation or transfer when needed, and support discharge planning.
- Participate in quality, safety, evidence-based practice, unit huddles, process improvement, and mentoring activities.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Ability to follow the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, organizational policies, and applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
- Ability to use electronic medical records, physiologic monitoring systems, and related clinical technologies.
