Registered Nurse-Emergency Services Full Time Weekend Nights

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; full-time weekend night shift

Salary: USD 37–59.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, establish measurable care goals, and update care plans.
• Coordinate treatment and discharge planning with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about medications, clinical conditions, discharge instructions, and available resources.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate care when required.
• Maintain a safe care environment by supporting fall, pressure ulcer, CAUTI, and central-line infection prevention initiatives.
• Lead or support patient care technicians, precept new staff, participate in unit huddles, and contribute to quality improvement.

Requirements

• Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work full-time weekend night shifts
• Compliance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, organizational policies, and healthcare regulatory standards

Nice to have
