Staff Nurse - Internal Medicine Full-time Days

Location: 2900 Foxfield Rd., St. Charles, Illinois, United States; full-time day shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill internal medicine patients using the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessment, care planning, interventions, reassessment, and evaluation.
• Administer medications safely and follow evidence-based practices to reduce clinical errors.
• Conduct phone triage, communicate abnormal test results, and provide related care instructions.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, pain management, and discharge planning.
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, committees, and department projects.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license or eligibility for the state license of employment
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current nursing experience within the past five years or graduation from a nursing program within the past two years
• Ability to assess patient needs, apply critical thinking, and coordinate individualized care
• Ability to work on site in St. Charles, Illinois, during day shifts

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• One year of experience in a relevant clinical specialty
• Proficiency in a second language
