Senior Business Analyst (Microsoft Power Platform)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that convert complex business data into actionable insights.
• Translate business requirements into reporting solutions, including KPIs, data requirements, dashboard layouts, and visualization approaches.
• Connect and transform data from SharePoint Online, Excel, and enterprise systems for analytics and reporting.
• Lead business process reengineering and current- and future-state analysis for federal HR operations.
• Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements while coordinating business, technical, HR, and policy stakeholders.
• Support optimization of federal HR systems and maintain process workflows using Microsoft Visio.

Requirements

• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical or system requirements.
• Proficiency developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency developing and supporting Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and Power Platform integrations.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Visio for business process modeling and workflow documentation.
• Experience connecting and transforming data from multiple sources for reporting and business intelligence.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal HR systems such as USA Staffing, HR Connect, eOPF, EHRI, Oracle, Workday, or UKG.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and business process improvement.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate business insights through data visualization, metrics, and KPIs.
